Phoenix sees her first frost…

YES!!! THIS is one of the pictures we’ve all been waiting for – the first hint of frost around the lander.

(click for full size image) This is a sure sign that conditions are getting colder at the landing site, and now we’ll be keeping a close eye on just how much thicker and more widespread this frost gets… It’s not immediately obvious just where the frost is, I know, so here’s a “before and after” view…
