Rasp marks…

Today Phoenix attempted to deliver some samples of icy material into its ovens, for testing and analysis. Unfortunately it seems the attempt was unsuccesful, and most of the material gathered up by the scoop stayed in the scoop, which is a great shame but I’m sure the Phoenix team are already working on a way to get it right next time.

In the meantime, here’s a new 3D image showing the rasp marks on the trench floor (click the image for a full size version)…
