“PHOENIX: Land of The Midnight Sun” – the Movie

If you’re a follower of the Phoenix mission (and you must be, or else why would you be here?) you’ll have seen and drooled over the Precently-released hoenix image showing the path of the Sun across the sky as seen by the lander. It clearly showed how, at midnight, the Sun is still above the landing site’s horizon…

If you saw that pic and wondered “Hmmm, what would it be like to see that in person..?” then my good friend and fellow UMSF member AstroO has made a masterpiece of a movie, showing just that. To see it, just go here and download the movie. It’s beautiful, and I don’t use the word lightly.
